STRAWBERRY NUT SALAD 
2 pkg. strawberry Jello
1 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
3 med. bananas, mashed
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
1 pt. commercial sour cream
2 cans mandarin oranges
1 head lettuce
1 (12x12 inch) baking dish or 9x13 inch will work

In large kettle combine Jello with boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Fold in strawberries with juice, drained pineapple, bananas and walnuts.

Put half of mixture in baking dish. Chill until firm. Evenly spread on sour cream. Spoon on the rest of Jello mixture. Refrigerate. Next day cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves. Garnish with oranges.
