JEWISH POUNDCAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. sour cream
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda

FILLING:

1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Set oven at 350 degrees. Grease 10 inch tube pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Add sour cream. Gradually add flour. Add baking powder and soda last. Batter will be thick.

Filling: Mix filling ingredients in separate bowl. Pour in 1/2 of batter in tube pan. Pour in half of filling and cut in. Add rest of batter and rest of filling. Cut in again. Bake for 1 hour. Test with toothpick; if wet, bake an additional 5 minutes. Repeat until toothpick is dry.
