BEEF NOODLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 sm. onion, chopped 8 oz. cooked egg noodles 1/2 salt 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 6 slices cheese 1/2 tsp. pepper Brown ground beef in 12 inch electric skillet, stirring until crumbly. Add onion, cook until light browned. Drain; stir in seasonings. Reduce heat to 200 degrees. Strain tomatoes, reserving 3/4 cup juice. Chop tomato. Layer noodles and tomato over beef in skillet. Pour reserve tomato juice over layers. Arrange cheese slices on top. Cook tightly covered for 15 minutes. Garnish with parsley. Yields 6 servings. |
