BUTTERSCOTCH TORTE 
6 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
6 egg whites

Beat egg yolks well. Combine baking powder, sugar and salt. Add to yolks and vanilla. Beat well. Beat whites until stiff. Fold in graham cracker crumbs and nuts. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool.

Whip 1 cup whipping cream and spread over torte. Cover with the following sauce: 1 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. water 1 tbsp. flour 1 egg, beaten 1/4 c. butter 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well together and pour over torte.
