NICK'S NO-MAYO TUNA SALAD
2 (5oz) cans of tuna
1 tsp. mustard
1 tbsp. Sour cream
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper

Optional Additions:

1 tsp. Pickle relish
Dash of cayenne pepper
lettuce and tomato (on sandwiches)

Open and drain the water from the canned tuna. Add the tuna, mustard, and sour cream to a bowl and mix. Try it, then add more mustard if you think it needs more zest, or sour cream for more moisture. Add pickle relish, if desired, and mix.

Add salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste, and mix. Spread on bread for a sandwich with a side of potato chips, or serve as a spread for crackers at a party.

Great non-mayo recipe. I actually added some powdered garlic and onion as well as topping my sandwich with French Dressing and it really added a zing. So good!

I made this recipe but added a few little things to it! I added diced pickles and onion as well as a 1/2 tsp of horseradish and it's soooo good. I didn't add the cayenne pepper though, just salt and pepper with a slice of brioche bread and some cherry tomatoes. It was a delicious dinner! And very quick as well!

This was amazing! The fat content in sour cream is way lower than mayonnaise. I did not add the cayenne pepper. I did add a teaspoon on pickle relish and a little lemon juice. This will be my forever tuna salad recipe!

I was looking for a mayo substitute to tuna salad and this recipe delivered! The only reason I gave this recipe 4 stars and not 5 was because I customized the recipe to my taste by adding veggies and seasoning. But the base recipe is a great starting point!

Tuna with the sour cream very tasty - thank you for this suggestion! Lots less fat! I added chopped dill pickle, little pickle juice, salt and pepper! Delicious!
