VIDALIA ONION PIE SUPREME | |
3 c. thinly sliced or chopped Vidalia onions 3 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 2 eggs, beaten 3 tbsp. plain flour 1 1/2 c. sour cream 2 pie shells, baked Saute onion in butter until transparent. Spoon into baked pie shells. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over onions. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until set (knife inserted in center comes out clean). Garnish with bacon crumbs (real bacon is much better - bacon can be added before or after baking pie). |
