VIDALIA ONION PIE SUPREME 
1 baked pie shell
2 c. thinly sliced Vidalia onions
3 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
3 tbsp. flour
Bacon slices

Cook onion in butter until lightly browned. Spoon into pastry shell. Add milk, 1 1/4 cups sour cream. Blend flour with 1/4 cup sour cream. Combine with egg mixture. Pour over onion mixture. Bake in slow oven 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until firm in center. Garnish with crisp fried bacon. Optional: Parsley flakes may be sprinkled on top before baking. Serves 6-8.
