BAKED MEAT BALLS 
2 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. allspice
5 beaten eggs
4 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
1 chopped onion

Mix bread crumbs with pepper, salt, sugar and allspice. Add enough hot water to soften crumbs. Add the eggs first, then the meat and onion. Mix well and form into small meatballs. Fry in butter or place on buttered cookie sheet and bake in 375 degree oven for 25 minutes, turning the meatballs halfway through baking time.
