My whole family loves these the only reason I gave 4 stars is because the baking time and temp hasnt worked out for me. I have to keep a very close eye on them while they are in the oven they can brown very quickly on the edges.I have lovered the temp and leghthend the cooking time a bit not yet perfected but getting there. I love how you can change this up and add different nuts and or dried fruit. If anyone has perfected the baking method please comment.

Made these yesterday. Taste really crunch and delish. I used a Teflon sheet pan liner and sprayed it with a little Pam. I pressed it into the pan with a potato masher, again sprayed with Pam. The center was still thicker than the edges, so next time, I will distribute the mixture more evenly in the pan before pressing them down into the pan. The edges browned very quickly, so I added strips of foil on the edges, like a pie crust. I cut them with a pizza cutter as soon as I removed them from the oven and left them in the pan too cool. I was afraid they would be too hard if I left them too cool before cutting. I added a little flax meal, Craisins, sliced almonds and pumpkin seeds, but otherwise followed the recipe. These are a hit and we love them!
