BANANA FUDGE 
3 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. light cream
1 c. butter
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. walnuts

Mix all but the vanilla and nuts. Cook over medium heat until it forms a soft ball. Cool until bottom of pan is warm to the touch. Add vanilla and nuts. Beat until it loses its gloss. Pour into buttered dish and cut when firm. Serves 12.
