OVERNIGHT COLE SLAW | |
2 1/2 c. shredded green cabbage, about 1 med. head 2 1/2 c. shredded red cabbage, about 1 med. head 1 med. sized green pepper, chopped 1/2 c. vegetable oil 1 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. white wine vinegar 1 tsp. celery seeds 1 tsp. celery salt 1/2 tsp. onion salt 3/4 c. chopped celery, may be substituted for celery seeds and celery salt Combine cabbages and green pepper in a large mixing bowl. Combine remaining ingredients in a jar. Screw lid tightly and shake well. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture, stirring well. Chill overnight. Makes 8-10 servings. |
