NEWTON'S SPECIAL POTATOES | |
Delicious with grilled steak, a salad, and a good glass of wine! 8 to 10 potatoes, peeled and chunked (Yukon Gold work best) 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 4 tbsp. FRANK'S® Red Hot hot sauce 1 tsp. chopped or crushed garlic black or white pepper, to taste dash or two liquid smoke (any flavor) Peel and chunk the potatoes; put in a large bowl or Ziploc bag. Melt butter and add hot sauce, garlic, pepper and liquid smoke. Mix well and pour over the potatoes. Mix well or seal the bag and shake until all potatoes are coated. Pour into a roasting pan. Bake uncovered at 400°F for one hour, stirring every 20 minutes so the potatoes brown evenly. Note: The potatoes can also be grilled, either in a closed foil packet or an open foil pan, for about an hour. Enjoy! Submitted by: KMN |
