DOCTOR DAVE'S DAZZLING DELIGHT 
6-7 slices bacon
6 crushed cloves garlic
6 red peppers, diced
4 lbs. cut stew beef
2 lbs. sausage
2 lbs. ground chuck
2 tbsp. oregano, dried
2 tbsp. cumin seed
2 lg. onions, chopped
3 tbsp. Doc's chili powder (or your own favorite)
2 c. quick oats
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato, chopped
24 oz. tomato paste
1-2 cans beer
2 tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. salt (salt to taste)
1 tbsp. fresh ground pepper (to taste)
6-7 tbsp. Doc's chili powder

Fry bacon and set aside. Saute garlic cloves and red peppers. Braise stew beef and reserve. Brown sausage, ground chuck, oregano, cumin seed, chopped onions, chili powder and quick oats. Add beef and crumbled bacon, reduce heat. Add remaining ingredients. Makes 1 1/2 to 2 gallons.
