WILD RICE, SHRIMP AND CRABMEAT
HOT DISH
 
2 c. cooked wild rice (2/3 c. raw)
1 c. cooked white rice
1 pt. fresh mushrooms or 1 lg. can mushrooms
1 green pepper, chopped
3 cans mushroom soup
1 c. crab meat (4 to 6 oz.) frozen pkg.
1 c. shrimp (7 oz. pkg.)
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 med. onion, cut fine
1 sm. can pimento

Put all together EXCEPT 1 1/2 cans soup, 1/2 cup shrimp, and all the mushrooms (brown mushrooms in butter, add shrimp, and soup - this is served as a sauce over the hot dish). Bake casserole uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, cover and bake another 45 minutes. (Looks quite juicy at first but cooks down.) Serve with warm sauce. Serves about 9.
