“CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE” IS IN:

CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE 
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp. melted shortening
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 3/4 cups boiling water

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa into bowl. Stir in milk and shortening.

Blend in chopped nuts and spread in a 9-inch square pan. Nuts may be omitted. Sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa. Pour boiling water over entire batter. Do not mix.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.

Cut in squares and turn out upside down when cooled. May be topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
