MEATBALLS AND GRAVY 
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. oatmeal
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
2 c. boiling water

Mix the first 6 ingredients together. Stir until well blended. Add hamburger. Roll into meatballs and then roll in flour (about 1/3 cup). Save 2 tablespoons flour. Brown meatballs on all sides in skillet. Drain off grease.

Mix water and soup mix together and pour over meatballs. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Mix the 2 tablespoons flour with 1/3 cup cold water and add to skillet to thicken. Serve over egg noodles or rice.
