HAMBURGER UPSIDE DOWN CORNBREAD | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck 1 onion, chopped 1 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. sliced pitted ripe olives 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato puree 1 tbsp. flour Grated cheese Brown ground beef and onion together. Drain off excess grease. Add chili powder, salt, pepper, olives and tomato puree. Simmer for 5 minutes. Combine flour and 1 tablespoon water, stirring until smooth. Add to hamburger, cook until slightly thickened. Spread evenly over 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Top with grated cheese. Prepare an 8 or 10 ounce corn muffin mix. Spread evenly over cheese and meat. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees. |
