SOUTHWEST GREEN BEANS | |
2 (16 oz.) canned green beans 1 small onion, chopped 2 tbsp. bacon drippings 1 c. or more chili sauce (in bottle) 4 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled dash of cayenne pepper Drain green beans, leaving a little water in each can. Sauté onion in bacon drippings. Add chili sauce, beans and bacon. Chill overnight. Heat to serve about 20 minutes at 350°F. |
