SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. spaghetti or linguini 32 oz. spaghetti sauce (store bought or homemade) 2 lbs. hamburger 2 (16 oz.) pkgs. Mozzarella cheese Boil one pound of spaghetti or linguini until al dente (chewy). Brown hamburger; drain off fat. Layer 1/2 pound of spaghetti in casserole dish. Top with one pound of hamburger and cover thoroughly with sauce. Add one package of Mozzarella cheese. Layer remaining spaghetti on top. Add the rest of the hamburger, sauce, and last package of cheese. Add hot pepper and Italian seasoning. Cover with tin foil. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese has melted in both layers (approximately 20-30 minutes). Serves 4-6 people. Add garlic bread, green garden salad, a bottle of Chianti! Mangia paisano. |
