KIM'S CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. beef stock
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. peanut oil or vegetable oil
1 lb. round steak, thinly sliced
Dash of garlic powder
2 sm. onions, cut into wedges
2 green peppers, cut into thin strips
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground pepper

Mix first 3 ingredients; set aside. Heat oil in wok to 400 degrees. Add meat and garlic powder; stir-fry 2 minutes. Add onion and pepper; stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Stir cornstarch mixture; add to wok; stir-fry until sauce thickens slightly. Serve.
