PEACH / FRUIT COCKTAIL COBBLER | |
2 cans fruit cocktail 1 can peach pie filling or other flavor 1 box cake mix, yellow (or whatever kind you prefer) 1 cube butter 1 container Cool Whip Butter or grease a 9x13-inch rectangular cake pan. Pour in the fruit cocktail, spread it out evenly. Pour in the pie filling and mix around gently, so that the flavors and fruits are fairly even. Sprinkle the cake mix (dry) over the fruit fillings, as even as possible, to edges of pan. Melt the butter and pour over the dry cake mix.Make rivers of the butter in stripes across the cake mix. Poke in spots every 3-inches so that the fruit can bubble up through the cake mix. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Check for doneness and poke again so that fruit filling can bubble up more. Bake another 15-30 minutes until slightly browned. Serve with Cool Whip! Submitted by: Linda in CO |
