GREEK PITAS 
1 lb. ground lamb
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 whole wheat pitas
Shredded lettuce
2 tomatoes, chopped

SAUCE:

1/2 c. plain yogurt
1 tsp. mint leaves, chopped
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 cucumber, chopped

Cook lamb, onion and garlic in oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until lamb is brown. Drain. Stir in salt, cumin and pepper. Cut each pita pocket in half, making 2 pockets. Spoon lamb mixture into each pocket. Stuff lettuce and tomato into each. Make a sauce by mixing together the yogurt, mint leaves, sugar and cucumber. Drizzle into each pocket.
