PETITE POPCORN BALLS | |
1/4 c. water or soda pop 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. light corn syrup 1/2 tsp. vinegar 1//4 tsp. salt 2 1/2 qts. popped corn 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime, grape, or strawberry jello Butter 2-quart saucepan. Combine all but popcorn and jello in pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until boils. Continue cooking until 250 degrees or hard ball stage. Remove from heat, stir in popcorn. Butter hands and shape into small balls. Immediately coat balls by shaking in paper bag containing jello. Makes 36. Popcorn: 1 ounce = 2 tablespoons = 1 quart popped |
