PINK PETITE PEAR SALAD 
1 (1 lb.) can pear halves, crushed
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. orange gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 dash salt
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. pear syrup, reserved from canned pears
2 c. miniature marshmallows

Drain pears thoroughly, reserving 1 1/2 cups pear syrup. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, stir in salt. Beat cream cheese until fluffy, then gradually add hot gelatin, stirring into cheese until smooth. Stir in pear syrup and chill. Stir a few times until partially set.

Crush pears finely with pastry blender in bowl. When gelatin mixture is partially set, fold in the well drained crushed pears and marshmallows. Spread in a 9x13 inch baking dish that has been rinsed in cold water. Chill until set. Garnish salad plates with crisp greens and place salad on top.
