MALLORY'S LAYERED TACO DIP
1 lb. ground beef
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) tub dairy sour cream
1 env. taco seasoning
1 (15 oz.) can refried beans (or use salsa if not a fan)
1 (8 oz.) bag shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican "Fiesta" cheese)

SUGGESTED TACO TOPPINGS:

shredded lettuce
chopped tomatoes
chopped black olives
chopped green onions
whatever else to your liking

Brown ground beef in a skillet, use non-stick cooking spray (Pam) if needed.

While browning, mix together cream cheese, dairy sour cream and taco seasoning with hand mixer. Place as first layer in a 13x9x2-inch pan.

When meat is browned, add refried beans to skillet and warm. Or add salsa, and warm. When warm, place as second layer.

Place cheese as third layer in order to melt slightly.

Layer on your choice toppings in any order that you want.

Variations: You can also you use salsa instead of tomatoes. Or use 92% lean ground beef, fat free or light cream cheese and sour cream, and 2% cheddar cheese, and refried beans, for a more healthy version (my personal choice).
