BUTTERSCOTCH DESSERT | |
1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter, melted 1/2 c. chopped nuts 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 lg. Cool Whip 2 pkgs. instant butterscotch pudding 3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1ST LAYER: Combine and mix flour, butter and nuts. Line 9"x13" pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. 2ND LAYER: Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup Cool Whip and spread on top of first layer. Chill. 3RD LAYER: Beat until thick the butterscotch pudding mix, 3 cups milk and vanilla. Pour over second layer. Chill. 4TH LAYER: Top with rest of Cool Whip from largest container. Sprinkle with nuts (optional). For chocolate dessert, add in place of butterscotch pudding 1 package instant vanilla pudding and 1 package instant chocolate pudding. |
