MINT SWIRL BROWNIES 
3 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. nuts
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate (melted)
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
3 drops green food color

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together cream cheese, butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Split batter in half. Stir nuts and chocolate in half and extract and coloring in half. Drop batter in checkerboard pattern in lightly greased 9 x 9 inch pan. Marble. Bake 30 minutes.
