BAKED TUNA, PASTA AND CHEESE 
1 c. elbow macaroni
1 can tuna
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
5 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. flour
2 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. Cheddar cheese

Cook macaroni and drain. Drain tuna fish. Mix macaroni and tuna in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Melt butter, add one of the tablespoons of melted butter to the bread crumbs and mix well. With the rest of the butter put into a saucepan on low heat and add the flour, stirring constantly, then add milk, salt, pepper and stir until smooth. Bring to a boil, boil one minute. Reduce heat and add cheese, stir until melted. Pour cheese sauce over tuna and macaroni, toss to mix. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over top.

Bake at 325°F for 25 to 30 minutes.

This was really good! However, I had to add more elbow noodles and the salt and pepper were a bit too much. Next time I make this I will use a total of 1 1/2 cups dry elbow noodles and salt and pepper will each be 1/2 to 1 tsp.
This is much better than using a can of cream of mushroom soup. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
