BAKED STEAK 
2 lb. round steak about 1 inch thick
1/4 lb. butter or mushrooms
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, not drained
1 envelope dry onion soup mix

Cut steak into serving pieces and place in 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread butter on meat. Add mushrooms and sprinkle with soup mix. Cover pan with foil and seal. Bake about 2 hours at 325 degrees. Serves 6 to 8 people.
