NORWEGIAN MEAT BALLS 
2 tsp. onions
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 slice white bread
1 egg
Milk enough to cover bread
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. water

Add chopped onion, salt, and pepper to beef; add bread soaked milk and beaten egg. Mix well, then add flour. Fry the meat balls brown in butter over low heat. Let simmer then add water and cover. When done, place meat balls in a large dish. Make gravy by adding water or broth and thicken with flour. Pour gravy over meat balls.
