OUR FAVORITE PIZZA | |
1/2 pkg. dry yeast 5/8 c. warm water 1 tbsp. oil 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt SAUCE: 8 oz. can Contadina pizza sauce OTHER TOPPINGS: Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, toppings of your choice. We use a tube of Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage for meat. 3 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese. Mix crust ingredients together. If you let it rise for a couple hours it will make enough crust for 2 round pizzas, but I don't usually take the time to do that and it makes enough crust for a large cookie sheet. Add more flour a little at a time until it can be worked with without sticking to your hands. Roll out on a floured surface until it fits your cookie sheet. Place crust on greased cookie sheet. Put on sauce, desired seasoning and toppings. Bake on a lower shelf of the oven at 400 degrees until crust and cheese are light brown. |
