NEW YORK SPECIAL BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
3/4 c. chopped nuts
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 egg, beaten
2 c. graham cracker crumbs

Put butter, cocoa and sugar in the top of a double boiler. Stir until smooth. Add egg and vanilla. Remove from heat. Add graham cracker crumbs, coconut and nuts. Spread in 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool.

1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. instant vanilla pudding
2 c. powdered sugar

Mix ingredients with 4 to 5 tablespoons cream. Spread on first mixture. Cook until set.

3 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
2 tsp. butter

Melt chocolate with butter. Spread over top and let set. This was one of the bars I sent in for Lester's birthday.
