TEA CAKES 
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
(Use 2 tsp. vanilla if you omit lemon)
1 1/2 c. flour, sifted

In large mixing bowl, make a "flour well". Add sugar, eggs, Crisco, and butter to well. Add flavoring and knead to a stiff dough. Roll out and cut into shapes. Bake at 350 to 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes until light brown. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
