HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground chuck beef
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 c. shredded cheese
3/4 tsp. salt
1 can French fried onions
1 (8 oz.) box elbow macaroni
1/4 c. chopped green pepper

Cook macaroni as directed on package. Drain. Brown ground chuck and drain. Combine all other ingredients except onion rings. Pour half of mixture in a 2 quart casserole dish. Add 1/2 can of onion rings on top. Pour remaining mixture. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, put rest of onions on top. Leave uncovered, put back in oven and bake 5 minutes longer.
