ALMOND STICKS 
1 pkg. cream cheese
3/4 c. butter, soft
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 (6 oz.) pkg. mint or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. slivered almonds

Cream cheese with butter until smooth. Beat in sugar and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder. Spread in ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until firm and lightly browned at the edges. Sprinkle chips over top, melt and spread; add almonds.
