CALIFORNIA RAISIN SAUCE FOR HAM | |
1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup water 1/3 cup port wine or currant jelly 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind 1/3 cup orange juice 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed 1 tbsp. cornstarch Dash allspice Rinse raisins. Add water, wine, rind and orange juice. Bring to a boil. Blend sugar with cornstarch, salt and allspice. Stir into orange mixture. Cook, stirring until clear. Makes 1 1/3 cups. |
