BEST CHOCOLATE PIE 
3 c. white sugar
Pinch of salt
7 tbsp. cocoa
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tall can evaporated milk (12 oz.)
1 stick butter, melted
2 c. flaked coconut or 1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Mix sugar, salt and cocoa together. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in vanilla and milk. Add melted butter, then coconut. Pour into 2 unbaked pie shells. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
