CHEESE BALL | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/4 lb. bleu cheese, crumbled (optional) 1 c. finely shredded Cheddar 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans 1/4 c. finely chopped parsley 3 tbsp. minced onion Put all ingredients, except parsley and pecans, in bowl. Beat with electric mixer at medium speed until mixture is fluffy. Stir in 3 tablespoons chopped pecans; cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours. Remove cheese from bowl, place on foil and shape with hands into large ball. Wrap tightly in foil and return to refrigerator. (Cheese is soft unless thoroughly chilled.) About 30 minutes before serving, unwrap cheese and reshape, if necessary. Roll in remaining pecans and parsley. Place on serving time. Makes 1 (3 inch) ball. |
