SPEEDY RAISIN HAM SAUCE | |
In the time it takes to slice the ham, you can simmer up this tangy, sweet sauce. 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1 (22 oz.) can raisin pie filling 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. water Sliced cooked ham In saucepan blend sugar, mustard and ginger. Stir in pie filling, lemon juice and water. Bring to boiling. Simmer, covered, 5 minutes. Serve over ham. Garnish with carrot curls, if desired. Makes 2 1/2 cups sauce. |
