SLOPPY JOE 
1 lb. hamburger
4 sm. cans tomato paste
1 bell pepper
2 c. shredded carrots
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. oatmeal
2 med. onions, chopped
1 (#2) can tomatoes
2 c. chopped celery
Dash of salt
1 toe garlic

Brown onion, garlic, peppers, and hamburger in small amount of oil. Add mashed tomatoes, add sugar, tomato paste, celery, and carrots. Simmer until tender or done, if more liquid is needed, add a little water. At the last few minutes, add oatmeal to thicken. Serve with biscuits.
