CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP -
MICROWAVE
 
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1 sm. onion, diced
1 c. chicken bouillon or broth
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. milk

Combine butter, mushrooms, and onion in 2 quart microproof bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook on high 3 minutes or until onions is transparent. Add remaining ingredients, except milk. Cook on high 2 minutes. Stir in milk. Cover. Cook for 3 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

Cooking time 8 minutes. 4 to 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
