Cream:

1 1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs

Add:

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix well and add:

4 c. diced apples
1 c. ground walnuts
1 c. raisins

Pour into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and poke holes in top of cake with large fork.

Bring to boil:

4 tbsp. shortening
1 c. brown sugar

Pour over cake.
