CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
1 pkg. Pillsbury Devil's Food Plus cake mix 1 tsp. almond extract 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 3 eggs 1/2 c. chocolate chips 1 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. milk 1/2 c. powdered sugar Mix cake mix, extract, pie filling, and eggs together. Beat for 2 minutes at high speed. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes. Cool in pan 25 minutes. Turn onto plate and cool completely. Mix chocolate chips, butter and milk in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until chocolate melts. Remove from heat. Add sugar. Glaze cake. (Add more milk if needed to spread well.) |
