JALAPENO HUSH PUPPIES 
2 c. cornmeal
1 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 sm. can cream style corn
4 jalapeno peppers, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 sm. onion, minced
Milk

Mix all ingredients together. Add milk and use enough to make as batter for cornbread consistency. If not enough milk is used, hush puppies will fall apart. Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot cooking oil for deep frying. Drain and serve.
