HARRY'S SOUTH AMERICAN CHILI 
This recipe has a South American influence, and is delicious with rice or bread and a salad!

2 lb. lean ground beef
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 medium onions
2 green onions
1 small green pepper
1 small red pepper
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 (28 oz.) can tomato sauce (Hunts)
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 (40 oz.) can dark red kidney beans
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 tbsp. chili powder
5 tbsp. cumin
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. oregano
salt and pepper, to taste
2 limes (juice only)
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Brown ground beef in frying pan, drain and set aside.

In a large pot on medium heat, add olive oil, chopped onions, green onion, green & red pepper and garlic. Sauté until done.

Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and lime juice. Stir together well.

Add cooked hamburger, parsley, and cilantro, stir lightly. Cover, bring to a boil then reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 1 hour until ingredients are cooked thoroughly, stir occasionally.
