CHICKEN NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
2 c. cooked, chopped chicken 1 c. cooked wide noodles 1 c. sharp cheese, grated 1 c. sliced mushrooms 1/4 c. each: pimento, green pepper and onion, chopped 1 c. milk 1 c. chicken stock 4 tbsp. butter 4 tbsp. flour salt to taste pepper to taste Mix the first 5 ingredients with a sauce made of the remaining ingredients. Melt butter. Add flour. Stir until dissolved. Add other ingredients. Cook until thickened. Mix with chicken mixture and put in casserole dish to reheat later or serve as is. Serves 6 to 8 people. |
