PUMPKIN PIE 
1 can packed pumpkin
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ginger
3/4 tsp. nutmeg (may substitute 1 1/2 tsp. allspice instead of ginger and nutmeg, if desired)
2 eggs
1 large can evaporated milk

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a prepared pie shell. Place pie on a cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for approximately 1 hour or until knife inserted into the center comes out clean. This is the absolute best Pumpkin Pie. It makes a very large pie. I use the large 9-inch deep dish Pyrex pie plate and it fills it full.
