MICROWAVE CHICKEN BREAST ALFREDO 
6 to 8 oz. uncooked fettuccine
4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
6 unbreaded chicken breasts
4 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. onions, finely chopped
2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. half & half
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1 tbsp. pimiento, chopped

Combine noodles, water and salt. Microwave on High for 15 to 18 minutes or until tender. Stir occasionally. Drain and set aside. Cook chicken breast filets for 10 to 12 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Cool. Slice crosswise into strips and set aside. In glass baking dish, cook butter, onion and mushrooms for 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients and cook on High for 10 to 13 minutes or until sauce is boiling and thickened. Stir in fettuccine noodles and chicken. Cook 2 to 3 minutes. Makes 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
