KIM'S CHEESY PARTY SNACK MIX 
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
3 cups Crispix cereal (or corn Chex)
1 cup pretzel sticks
1 1/2 cups roasted salted peanuts
2 cups Cheez-it crackers
3 tsp. garlic powder (reduce to 2 tsp. for milder garlic flavor)
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 to 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

In large pot, melt butter. Add cereal, peanuts, pretzels, and crackers and toss, keeping heat on med-low. Sprinkle spices across the top of the cereal, then toss. Cook over medium-low for about five minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Remove from stove and add cheese. Stir to make sure everything is well-coated.

Transfer mix to a large cookie sheet and spread evenly. Allow mix to cool for about 30 minutes. Serve immediately or store in airtight bags or containers.

Note: For a more Italian flair, add 1 tablespoon of dried basil and 1 teaspoon dried oregano.
