1 box yellow cake mix
1 (3 3/4 oz.) box Jello (any flavor, cherry, raspberry or mixed flavor)
8 oz. container Cool Whip

Grease and flour oblong cake pan. Bake cake according to package directions. Cool cake and poke holes on top. Make Jello, using ONLY 1 cup water. Pour slowly over cake. Chill. Top with thawed Cool Whip to serve.
